When stress and life are getting you down sometimes you just need to do something to feel good about and look forward to. One of the best stress relievers for some is to do something nice for yourself. I am not talking about going out and compulsively buying things just to feel good. Instead, take time out for yourself and take a hot bath, or go get a massage.
Just imagine it’s Saturday night and everybody is in the bed. Now imagine running a nice warm bath with your favorite bath soap in it. You light a candle and set it up on the sink and put on some nice soothing music you like. Now you lay back in the tub and close your eyes letting your thoughts just wander and being caught up in moment that you have created...just for yourself. Spend however much time you need. Remember this time is just for you to unwind and slow your mind down.
Do this once a week and you will feel more relaxed and more at peace.
